Want to learn how to make a slew of leggings out of all those fun knits you've been eyeing lately? Consider yourself confident with wovens, but want to try your hand at knits? Then this class is for you! Come learn how to make a quick and fun pair of simple leggings in this one day, 3 hour class! Sizes accommodate  XXS - 3X!

The Cloth Pocket Studio is proud to offer a Knit Apparel course where one will learn how to:

• Read an apparel sewing pattern
• Use a serger and learn sewing machine techniques for knits
• Sew a waist yoke
• Finish a knit hem on legs
• Make a pair of leggings from start to finish!

This class will be taught by Dixie Davis of DixieDIY.com.

The course will take place over one day for three hours. It is designed to accommodate 4-8 students.

Prerequisites: You need to know how to use a sewing machine on your own and how to successfully sew a straight stitch. It is recommended that you already be comfortable sewing with wovens.

Sewing machines can be rented for $5 for the course. It is recommended that you bring a machine if you own one so that you may learn to sew on the machine that you'll be using the most. Sergers will be provided at no cost to the students, but feel free to bring one if you have one!
