Libs Elliott - Motivational Mini Quilts | Beginner Class

I feel like, on some days, we could just use a little extra encouragement to get through the day. Maybe you aren’t feeling motivated. Or maybe just aren’t feeling like your usual cool self. One solution? The Motivational Mini! In this 3-hour class, we’ll be working with iron-on fusible applique to create positive, motivational sayings on mini quilts and banners. Hang it up in a place where you’ll see it and, BOOM! it will help you get over those ‘life hurdles’. Because, at the very least, you can look at it and be PROUD that you made it!

In this class, Libs will teach you how to:

  • Make an applique template
  • Use iron-on fusible web
  • Machine-finish applique
  • Play with fun ways to embellish and finish your mini quilt

Libs will bring along some motivational mottos. But, if you’d like a custom one, please email Libs in advance of March 15 th and she’ll make a custom template using your words (Keep it simple – 2-3 words max!):

Prerequisites: You need to know how to use a sewing machine on your own and have recent sewing experience.
